I’m sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with your Internet Service Provider. Though most of the cable companies have monopolies on many areas which I’m assuming is causing your problems 2 way satellite internet companies are a healthy alternative to cable and the god awful dial up. Don’t be fooled by the word satellite either…it’s as fast as any other type of high speed connection these days. I would say you take a look into one of the many satellite ISP’s because you’re not going to win the money battle with your cable company. They’re just to big and they don’t have to care.

We are going to be moving to rural Maine at some point this year and I’m spoiled by city cable internet services. In the area we’re moving to there will be no cable television, let alone internet, services. Is there any program that combines satellite television AND satellite broadband services or would it be either, or, or two separate satellite systems? The idea of going back to a dial up connection is almost turning me off from the whole move. Any help? Thanks very much.

Patricia, unfortunately there are no bundle packages that provide both satellite television and satellite internet. The systems are separate and require completely different satellite systems and different satellite dishes. I can’t imagine having to go back dial-up, good luck on your decision and give us a call at 866-430-8186 if you have any questions.
